Dryerbox DB-425

The Dryerbox Model DB-425 is specifically designed to leave space to allow for utilities, such as plumbing, electrical and gas, to pass by in the same cell of the wall. While intended for upward venting, Dryerbox Model DB-425 can be rotated for downward venting to support pedestal and stacked dryers, if needed. Dryerbox Model DB-4D

Dryerbox Model DB-4D is designed for downward venting exhaust systems and floor standing dryers. The knock-out gas port provides the option to use the Dryerbox with gas dryers.

In a downward venting situation, floor-standing dryers vent from the center bottom of the appliance and the dryer's exhaust port is on the same horizontal plane as the in-wall connection. Without the Dryerbox, this would likely cause the transition hose to become compressed, creating a blockage and trapping dangerous lint. The width of the Dryerbox DB-4D allows the flex hose enough room to compress upward then curve back down through the floor neatly and safely.
