The Dryerbox is an in-wall recessed receptacle in the laundry room that houses the dryer exhaust duct. It has changed the way of venting a dryer, contributing to improved dryer performance, safer, more efficient and roomier homes. Built tough here in the USA using deep drawn 22-gauge aluminized steel, the Dryerbox protects the dryer’s transition hose in the wall against crushing and kinking, helping to minimize trapped lint. With the transition duct safely out of the way, the dryer can be pushed much closer to the wall, creating a larger laundry area.

Home safety is improved and families can have peace of mind in knowing that the Dryerbox is UL rated for a one hour fire wall, helping to prevent a fire from starting by protecting the transition hose and creating a barrier to flame spread if a fire does occur.

Dryerbox DB-480

Keeping the laundry room running safely and efficiently is easier than ever with the Dryerbox. The Dryerbox Model DB-480 is the most versatile Dryerbox, allowing for upward or downward venting and includes a knock-out gas port to accommodate gas dryers.

The taller and wider Model DB-480 works with dryers directly on the floor, as well as those on a pedestal, meaning home buyers have the flexibility to change dryer types without remodeling worries. When the dryer’s exhaust port lines up horizontally with the in-wall connection, the extra width allows room for the flex hose to safely turn to connect without restricting airflow.

A consistent bottom plate installation simplifies the install, so the job can be completed faster, leaving the laundry room with a clean, professional-looking finish. Additionally, the squared edges make installations easier.

Dryerbox DB-425

The Dryerbox Model DB-425 is specifically designed to leave space to allow for utilities, such as plumbing, electrical and gas, to pass by in the same cell of the wall. While intended for upward venting, Dryerbox Model DB-425 can be rotated for downward venting to support pedestal and stacked dryers, if needed. The knock-out gas port allows support for gas dryers as well as electric.

Dryerbox Model DB-4D

Dryerbox Model DB-4D is designed for downward venting exhaust systems and floor standing dryers. The knock-out gas port provides the option to use the Dryerbox with gas dryers.

In a downward venting situation, floor-standing dryers vent from the center bottom of the appliance and the dryer's exhaust port is on the same horizontal plane as the in-wall connection. Without the Dryerbox, this would likely cause the transition hose to become compressed, creating a blockage and trapping dangerous lint. The width of the Dryerbox DB-4D allows the flex hose enough room to compress upward then curve back down through the floor neatly and safely.
