The DryerWallVent is built tough in the USA. This sleek, low profile, premium performance vent provides maximum airflow and minimizes lint buildup. The deep drawn heavy-gauge Galvalume® steel housing with a lighter weight Galvalume steel angled damper are powder coated and corrosion-resistant to maintain their shine. The damper's integrated magnets keep it closed when the dryer is not in use, preventing birds and rodents from entering the dryer exhaust system. The wider opening allows the dryer to perform at peak efficiency and provides easy access for vent cleaning and maintenance. The built-in drip edge protects against the elements. The DryerWallVent is available in Black, White, Brown and Tan powder coated colors, as well as a Primed Finish for you to custom paint in any color to match your exterior.

I wanted a dryer vent cover that was easier to access inside for cleaning, and this was perfect. I have used the plastic louver style covers in the past, and the louvers were easy to remove when needed, but it was just another step and sometimes the louvers get brittle and end up breaking. This steel cover feels sturdy and was easy to install, though it comes with a higher price. I removed the two screws on the bottom so the front and back pieces could be separated. I then attached the vent hose to the lip on the back of the cover, and secure the base piece to the house with 4 exterior screws. I then slide the front section back on and reinstalled the bottom screws. The cover has magnets to hold the flap closed, but they are not too strong that it hinders the flap from opening when your dryer is on. I do wish there was a magnet or some type of clip at the top so it could be secured open during cleaning, though.

I bought this vent because I didnít want plastic. I also like its low profile. Installation was easy. It is very durable and I donít expect to have to replace it in the future.

I like the fact it is US made. Had to disassemble to access mounting holes but otherwise nice heavy duty unit to replace my old plastic louvered ones

I was searching for a sleek/low-profile option to vent a dryer out of a door. Needed it to look halfway decent, work very well, and not be obtrusive to foot traffic. A bonus is that the pricepoint is entirely reasonable though it does cost a little more than some of the competition. Overall I am quite happy with my choice to pick the DryerWallVent! It installed easily, mounted/secured well, and the relatively simple shape was easy to caulk/seal from the environment (i.e. rain). It actuates nicely with dryer air flow and although the magnetic retention isn't super strong, the design gives me confidence that critters won't manage to enter the ductwork. Great product! Also I'm pleased with InOvate as a company, having purchased other items to complete my dryer duct. It's really cool they provide detailed product drawings (AKA blueprints) as those have really helped me with designing my dryer duct/vent solution in CAD
