After popping off the old vent, I used 4 4d galvanized nails to attached the new vent to vertical wood siding. It slipped right into place. Before nailing I used a small level to ensure the door would open easily. A bead of caulk around three sides and it was done. Less than 10 minutes! Much better quality than others I found at a plumbing supply store and big box store.

Top quality build and great customer service to boot! I ordered three in Tan colour, but realized two of them should be white. I didn't discover this oversight until about two months after ordering as the construction wasn't completed until then, but customer service was great to deal with and allowed me to return for a full refund (I then re-ordered two in white). Love these vents!

My contractor, who has been in the remodeling business for more than 30 years, said this was the best-made dryer vent he had ever seen.

Our old vent opened to only 30 degrees with the dryer on; which is typical. At 30 degrees, the dryer was running inefficiently. The 4" hose from our dryer is only 2' away on the same level; and this vent opens to 45 degrees when our Maytag dryer is on (not the 90 degrees shown in the video), and the sides of the vent flap are not blocked as with other vents, so there's a lot less air resistance and greater air flow. As a result, the clothes dry quicker -- maybe 10-15 minutes less time per load than before. This will save electricity and the dryer will last longer; i.e., this thing will pay for itself. The device is very well made - 24 gage steel (much heavier than typical steel ducts or other dryer vents) with a high quality powder coat paint on everything that will show. A 4" diameter galv. steel pipe (about 3" long) is integrated into the vent's rear. There are two 1/2" x 1/2" stick-on magnets at the bottom of the flap that hold the door closed when not in use to keep wind/insects/birds out. Completed project has a professional look. About the only way this could be improved would be to make the flap out of aluminum, so it would weigh less and therefore open more than 45 degrees. Even so, a lot more air comes out than before as it is. Highly recommended.

Easily the best and most attractive and durable unit on the market. And since it blows outward instead of downward, It has an unimpeded airflow and no lint collection near the vent. The lack of bird screens that inevitably clog is a major plus. Very reasonable price for the quality and longevity of the product.

This vent cover is absolutely the best cover available. Installation was easy and fast. Finished installed look is very professional. The powder coated finish provides a high end look and it is meant to last. The recessed mount of the vent door, along with the magnetic closure makes it impossible for birds or mice to get in. This vent cover is perfect in every way. We love it and will never have to worry with our vent covers again.

Having gone through three plastic vents over the years, it was time for a metal vent, and this one is the way to go. Nicely constructed and installed easily, (two people could have done it even quicker) , but did entail a couple of trips into the house crawl space. I did use metal duct tape inside the vent collar to smooth out the transition from the vent pipe to the round collar. I thought that might prevent some lint build up.

Love the simplistic look, no hood protruding beyond the house cladding. Would be nice not to have web site printed on the face in large print....

This wall vent is the best wall vent on the market. After searching through local home improvement stores, and being disappointed with the quality and design of the products available i turned to the internet. I came across In-O-Vate Technologies and really liked the design of this wall vent. After receiving it, I was not disappointed. Very high quality and well designed. I installed this vent for my dryer and ordered another and installed it for my bathroom ventilation fan. Very nice, clean, low profile design.

Just what I was looking for. A well made vent that won't fall apart, or degrade in the sun like cheap home center models.

The magnetic flapper dryer vent worked far better than the old plastic louvered grille. The plastic failed in sunlight and was brittle and broke when cleaned. The new square vent design look much better also. I will get this vent grill again when it need one.

I am an HVAC engineer and I have been totally frustrated with wall vents that don't close, the damper hangs open constantly. I installed one of these to exhaust a Panasonic bathroom exhaust fan and it works perfectly. I bought another to replace my dryer vent. A simple concept that just works. I wish these were available in more sizes and colors and materials. I have started using these on commercial projects.

Product looks great and has a great design with 1 minor flaw. I had to trim the rubber tabs so that the magnet would be strong enough to hold the door shut against drafts. Other than that installation was a breeze

Inovate's dryer wall vent is well constructed and operates smoothly. I installed two in the attic gable, one for each bathroom vent fan on the second floor of our home. I recommend use with 8" aluminum siding. The vent fits flush on a single panel of aluminum and seals with a minimum of caulk around the wall cutout. Sweet!

Finally got tired of replacing / installing sub standard vent covers that would deteriorate over time and often rattle due to the multiple flaps. The DWV construction is solid and the ability to quickly and easily remove the flapper assembly for cleaning the duct is a huge plus - Thanks!

As others have stated, this is an excellent exhaust/dryer vent. The vent is very well made, and looks very professional. It could be painted, but there is certainly no need to do so since the white looks great. There are four pre-drilled holes for screws under the flap that are easily accessible. One thing that would be a nice option is if it came with a removable screen.

This product is very well made and puts a beautiful finishing touch on our installation.

I recently purchased and installed the White Premium Dryer Vent. It arrived quickly in a small box. The instructions were easy to follow and the Installation took only a few minutes. The Vent replaced an old plastic tri-louvre vent that had warped and would never close. That caused a problem by staying open and letting very cold air inside and the vent pipe helped to cause a hot water line located above the piping to freeze. While looking good from the exterior the vent now closes after the Dryer shuts off and I think I've solved the potential freezing pipe problem. I highly recommend this product if you want to be done with the Dryer Vent Cap once and for all.

This item is heavy duty, low profile and blends in nicely with my house. The vent is visible from the road, so I wanted something which looks good. This item does the job. IU am very pleased with the item and would highly recommend it.
