This vent cover is built like a tank; perhaps too much so. Our dryer, at least, will barely cause the shutter to open. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be anything between this and flimsy plastic louvers, both of which the wife now hates.

It's a quality product but the one thing itís missing is a gasket on the inside wall. This would create a much better seal on the flapper door !

This was easy to install using the online installation guide. It fit snuggly into the 4î dryer vent pipe. The flap opens easily when the dryer is running, but stays securely shut when not in use. It looks great, too.

Sturdy well designed dryer vent. Worth the money! This dryer vent is well designed with several screw hole spacing options for mounting to house. The vent is solidly made and will last forever. No more plastic vents that require frequent replacement. My vent run is 24 feet and the flap opens easily when the dryer is running. The magnets hold the flap closed in wind. My old plastic vent had louvered slats which trapped lint. Unfortunately my dryer vent is 15 feet off of the ground, so I need a permanent solution. This is it.Well worth the money!

I searched for a product that was different than all the typical plastic designs available at all the stores. This vent hood is perfect in every way. Durable, sleek design, quality and pro finish. A great product that I installed in ten minutes.

After 2 less expensive plastic louver style dryer vents cracked and broke I decided to buy something more substantial. This is a metal vent that uses magnets to keep the flap door closed when dryer is not in use. It is well made and easy to install. Well worth the price. No need to paint.

Definitely a step up from hardware store brands/available merchandise. The dryer wall vent was easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. So far, it is functioning well.

We installed a new gas dryer only to find that the 'check vent' light came on often. The flush mount wall vent was installed to replace more restrictive u-vent and the 'check vent' light remains off.
