The DryerWallVent is built tough in the USA. This sleek, low profile, premium performance vent provides maximum airflow and minimizes lint buildup. The deep drawn heavy-gauge Galvalume® steel housing with a lighter weight Galvalume steel angled damper are powder coated and corrosion-resistant to maintain their shine. The damper's integrated magnets keep it closed when the dryer is not in use, preventing birds and rodents from entering the dryer exhaust system. The wider opening allows the dryer to perform at peak efficiency and provides easy access for vent cleaning and maintenance. The built-in drip edge protects against the elements. The DryerWallVent is available in Black, White, Brown and Tan powder coated colors, as well as a Primed Finish for you to custom paint in any color to match your exterior.

I have had my eye on these vents for a while and was looking forward to receiving one. I was disappointed by the thinness of the metal construction. The vent that I received was bent and the door didn't close properly. The frame is flimsy and must be mounted perfectly flat. The good part is that customer service was happy to refund my money.

Rec'd my dryer wall vent a few days ago but installation was delayed until this morning when the sun finally came out and the rain stopped. I watched your retro-fit video before ordering and must say that really helped this DIYer. However, it took me longer than the 'less than 4 minutes' for installation. After gathering the tools, though, and allowing extra time to clean the lint and caulk from the surrounding bricks, the entire job took a mere 15 minutes... and it looks great! I'm certain it will last many years longer than the plastic and looks far better than anything available at my local stores!

This is a simple design and seems to be well built. Will need more time to see if there's any problems with lint build-up. Small diameter of duct flange made it easy to install but wonder if it will catch any lint. Can give a more thorough review after using for at least a couple months.

Bought this vent to replace the louvered kind. Had it installed in less than 3 minutes! Super easy to install and I'm not having to pick lint out of the louvers anymore. Love it!

I purchased this vent after the old plastic one disintegrated and a chipmunk decided the dryer would be a good place to visit. I primarily picked it for durability and good looks. An added benefit is that it takes noticeably less time to dry a load of laundry due to the unrestricted airflow.

What else can I say. It is sturdy, well built, easy to install and aesthetically pleasing. I highly recommend this product and wish it were available in a 3" version.

They look better than any vent out there but they are louder than any vent out there. Any kind of breeze catches them and they slam open and shut all night and the all metal makes them extremely loud. Your better off putting plastic ones in that aren’t as loud

Without a doubt the best wall vent out there. Installs easily, door doesn't bang in the wind, and looks like the high quality product it is. I don't think there is anything out there that is better, and I've probably used them all! I used this for a 110 CFM bathroom fan with a short duct run and it works great. But I would like to see some products made specifically for bath fans and their lower CFM output.

After watching the DIY video on installation, I decided to take the plunge and purchase the dryer wall vent Removal of the old vent was a snap and installation on my new vent went smoothly Most importantly, my dryer vent now opens wide with no backflow When not in use, the vent stays closed and keeps drafts out Thank you! for making such a fine product and doing so here in the USA

The quality of this vent is superior to all others I researched and I will not hesitate to recommend it to others. My only suggestion would be to make it's diameter slightly larger for easier installation. I give the Dryer Wall Vent 5 stars.
